What should I do with my last $50...?

$10 on Manchester City at home to Chelsea @ $5.15
$15 on the draw in the same match @ $3.40

Manchester City have lifted for their big games this season, (with the exception of one forgettable afternoon at Stamford Bridge) doing the double over an outstanding Manchester United team and recently arresting a form slump to beat the then in-form Tottenham Hotspur. If they are playing a team in the bottom half always make sure you get your other half to hide your wallet lest ye be tempted into something foolish. Sure they look like good things to put 4 goals on Derby on the road but it's far more likely they'll get something out of a home tie with Chelsea.

$25 on a multi-bet of Gold Coast to beat Canberra and Manly to beat South Sydney in the NRL/Geelong (40+) vs Melbourne in the AFL/Everton to beat Derby in the EPL/Newcastle (+0.5) against Reading @ 2.98.

The Gold Coast are better than the Raiders. The Gold Coast are good at home, the Raiders are awful on the road. Simple as that. It would be hard to see a team who couldn't beat the Panthers get over a team who finally put Jamie Lyon back in the centres and subsequently won by nearly 50 against the Warriors. Hopefully Russell Crowe makes the trip out to Brookvale to watch it all unfold. Geelong may not cover 70 points as players are likely to spend part of the match chatting to fans, catching up on study for life after football, and the backline might possibly have time for a haircut but the Cats should still manage a margin of 40 or more. Derby 2007/2008 are the worst side in the Premiership ever. Everton could probably get the job done with their youth squad. Newcastle turned the corner last week with a terrific win at White Hart Lane. They should at the very least take a point against Reading who have had their troubles on the road.

We'll take the winnings and look for something more exotic for next week...

That's a fucking convoluted bet for $2.98!
