We'll have a bowl. Named in honour of one of the worst decisions in Australian sport. Ricky Ponting's disastrous decision to send England in to bat in the 2005 Ashes series. The shortened "have a bowl"is just an awesome coincidence.
Anyway, this should be a semi-regular blog which aims to offer a variety of opinions on Australian sport. My role here will be primiarily critiquing a lot of bad Australian sports journalism... Phil Gould will be a favourite.
Along with that expect a lot of gambling advice, not the "don't gamble" rubbish you'll read on the back of your beer mat, match reports - Rugby and Cricket will be favoured, and heaps of stuff that is in truly poor taste. The other guys will write posts later in the week - expect some more League, AFL and soccer coverage.
