My final Origin thought till next year.

On hearing the unbelievable news that Thurston was "man of the series", apart from being speechless, I have taken the drastic step of naming WHAB's own Man Of The Series...Petero Civoniceva. If you think I'm off the mark, I suggest you find a tape of all three matches and watch them start to finish. If on the back of one run, beating a prop with a dummy, you could possibly entertain Thurston being "man of the series" then I suggest you are mentally retarded. Goodnight Australia.

There is only one game at Suncorp next year, the third game (which funnily enough is on the 150th anniversary as Queensland as a state) is being played in Melbourne, as per the deal between QRL and NSWRL, under which 1 game, scheduled for NSW, in 2006 was played down there.

Hear hear Captain. I opted to squeeze lemon juice into my eyes rather than watch him collect that medal.

That's not exactly good news considering NSW suck just as much in Melbourne. Good to see you on the blog Major.

P.S. You only need to publish your comment once...

I had turned off the telly given my depressed nature after an Origin loss so thankfully I missed the whole bogus affair. Who votes for that shit? Channel Nine?Honestly there were at least 8 players I'd have given man of the series to ahead of Thurston. Probably more because I can't stand him. I'll even sneak Tate in ahead of him!

my vote would have to actually go to steven price. does not play in the first game, nsw forwards dominate. cause and effect. unfortunately for nsw, we don't have anyone in the pack who comes close to the man for passion, and giving it his all at every aspect of the game. not even.. brett "tag, you're it" white.

Brett White was ghoulish.
And doesn't Willie Mason love to roll the old sleeves up when we are in the QLD 20??? Rubbish otherwise.

I have decided to remember only one thing from game three.
(Video to come!)

Fuck!
If you find a link to the Crocker getting hit in the head by a football and then looking like a spider on rollerskates let me know.

That is the only thing i choose to recall from origin III.

I'm finding it very hard to erase the Folau try from my mind. That was brilliant. One of those moments where you are just gutted that the opposition is better and there's nothing you can do about it...
