Weekend Wrap

My weekend consisted of; watching the best player in the world Jarryd Hayne and his Eels booking their spot in the finals, backing Figure Of Speech at Caulfield at $80 the win, $15 the place, confirming that Denman and Mic Mac are a couple of serious racehorses, watching the Wallabies get smashed by the 'Boks everywhere but on the scoreboard, wondering why I paid $90 for a ticket to watch the Wallabies get molested by the 'Boks next week, watching the Dragons get spanked in front of Russell Crowe, wondering what will become of the ginormous bet I placed on the Dragons to win the comp, watching the Brisbane Lions doing their best to cough up a 48 point lead and a home final, wondering if anyone wants to trade a Wallabies ticket for a Brisbane Lions home final ticket, wondering why more NRL players can't be more like Hazem El Masri and marvelling at what having a great striker such as Emmanuel Adebayor can do for your EPL team. Good times...

Enjoying the Friday Creek win at 80's, watching the Panthers do their best to prove they don't belong in the 8, worrying about the navy blues finals tilt, being amazed by Denman and Mic Mac, feeling like Viewed or Efficient could easily repeat.. and chalking up '09 for the wallabies as a "learning experience." Bring on Genia.

Oh and as far as I know, Ricky Ponting had a weekend off, went out to dinner and couldn't even order the right item from the buffet.
