What I'll Be Watching This Weekend

Racing, EPL, competitive T20 and lots of Super 14. Thank fuck the seemingly neverending Australian cricket summer is over, and I just hope the Windies and Pakis enjoyed their holidays out here. Looking forward to some serious T20's against the Kiwis who always give us cheek across the ditch. Though with their small fields, they'd want to be getting it right to Dave Warner. The missus is away this weekend so I have free reign over the remote. I'm particularly interested in how my star-studded Waratahs perform against the rampant Bulls, because if they dish up the same rubbish they did last week, then not only will they get hopelessly flogged, but coach Chris Hickey is really gonna get it right here on WHAB early next week. How a squad over-flowing with Wallabies can play such aimless, predictable and boring Rugby, completely lacking in creativity, is a mystery that I'd like our esteemed coach to shed some light on. And after watching the Reds tear the Crusaders apart, I can't help but wonder how Ewen McKenzie was sacked as Waratahs coach for being "boring". If making the Super 14 final is boring, then what can you say of the Tahs progress and achievements since then? Sweet fuck all I'd reckon.

I'm also looking forward to Manchester City taking on Chelsea, to see how Wayne Bridge reacts to John Terry during the pre-match shake of hands. This is really the only possible reaction he could have:

Good on Bridge for pulling out of the England World Cup squad too. I wouldn't want to play with the 2009 UK Father Of The Year, and all-round douchebag either. I'm also interested to see how City perform, because if they get pumped, then manager Roberto Mancini will also be copping a massive spray for his ridiculous over-rotation of players and underachieving team. So there you have it; Chris Hickey and Roberto Mancini...you've been warned.....
